Meet the Team!
Hope Miller
The founder and President of Simply Pro-life
With pro-life greats, Joe and Ann Scheidler, for grandparents, Hope grew up in the pro-life movement. She attended many pro-life events throughout her childhood and at age of 12 she really began looking into the abortion issue and why it was one of the largest debates in America.
At the age of 14 Hope became President of the Crusaders for Life, Volo. She held this position for three years, and continued doing pro-life work, which included working with her grandparents' organization, The Pro-Life Action League. Hope has interned for several pro-life organizations, continued public speaking, been present on social media and has hosted several pro-life events, reaching thousands of people.
Inspired by Hope’s grandpa's advice to "do something pro-life every day,” she had the idea for Simply Pro-Life. Her belief is that great changes are simply just a series of small actions done consistently. Her goal is to show the youth of America simple ways to be pro-life while also giving them the resources and means to do so. Hope believes that together, we will restore the dignity of life one baby step at a time.
Maeve Kitchens
Vice President of Simply Pro-Life
Maeve is a 17-year-old pro-life activist and content creator who lives in northern California where she attends a local college. She has spent the last 5 years of her life studying abortion and learning under some of the greatest pro-life leaders including Kristan Hawkins, the President and founder of Students for Life of America (SFLA). She grew up in a Christian home and from the moment she heard what abortion is, she has been unapologetically pro-life and has dedicated her life to abolishing abortion.
At age 13 Maeve attended her first pro-life rally at the California state capital and was immediately hooked. From there she decided to start and lead a SFLA group, where she and her students would minister to their local community and churches. Maeve got accepted into two SFLA fellowship programs which helped her grow her life’s work in the pro-life movement and allowed her to travel across the country for activism.
As she grew in her knowledge about abortion, she became more confident in speaking out. She began speaking at dozens of churches, youth groups, and other pro-life events in California. She has lobbied for pro-life election campaigns, met with politicians, and done interviews with Fox and Friends, the Daily Signal, Knights of Columbus, and many other media outlets.
Maeve is currently helping to start a Pregnancy Resource Center in her county and regularly attends pro-life events, and rallies, and continues in her public speaking. She recently left SFLA and decided to join Hope in kickstarting Simply pro-life and is dedicating her time to ending abortion one baby-step at a time.
